Ive never once seen an add for VO. A lot of people would like this game, but they wont discover it unless you put money into adds. Try websites like Roblox.com or miniclip.com if you dont want to pay tons. I guess yall could just post sites that it would be good for VO to be advertised on.
You can only "put money into ads" if you have money in the first place.
We haven't had any money for a marketing budget in some years. We are now (2018) trying to save some funds for a future launch-marketing push (potentially around Steam, etc).
But anyway, yes, we are aware of the value of advertising :).

You should try selling in game creds for real , may be you get some marketing budget this year :).
we should make our own trailers and spread the game ourselves, just to help the devs out ;)
Which, for anyone who isnt subbed to my channel, i've been gauging reaction to parts of a project trailer i eventually want to do, both to see what resonates with people well and to see what i need to work on to improve my creative skills for that task. The combat-focused test did really well, and i [badly] botched my idea for a cinematic test so naturally not as many people even bothered with it. I've also taken to watching the everspace trailers over and over and over to see how they do timing and all that stuff i'm not familiar enough with.
