A power drain blaster can drain a target power cell into the negative.

A power cell in a negative power state will not power turbo or any weapons until it has recharged into the positive.

A power cell in a negative power state that suffers an additional power drain event will reflect a portion of that power drain, calculated as the cell's recharge rate times the power deficit constant (5) divided by it's current negative power state, with the reflected drain seeking the nearest ship in the sector that is in a positive power state.

Note: The nearest ship is likely to be the one firing the PDB.
Note: The drain reflect limits total negative to about 5 seconds recharge.

The Idea seems great but like what Greenwall said, it is going to take a lot to make that work. A bunch of math junk and stuff.

However, I'll accept an explanation such as a certain substance that invades and occupies the charger temporarily, causing it to not recharge at all for a period of time. It only needs to remain at 0 for a period of time. Going below 0 is an ABSOLUTELY NONSENSICAL idea that would only appeal to those who thinks imaginary numbers are actually real.

Certainly. However I'm sure an educated person as yourself, Skinwalker-1300, would not venture to confuse a new messenger with "new information or data". Indeed the concept is exactly the same.

I think if possible the OP and my above linked posts would be very much welcomed in a "capship combat" update package -- which, combined with various other proposals found in this forum about capship capabilities and vulnerabilities, would usher in a truly new era of VO.

Cargo barges and mobile hangars were interesting and useful for a couple years, but we are beyond that now.
