jackhammer/screamer safety fuse reduction.
Reduce the safety fuse on the Jackhammer and Screamer large port unguided rockets to be the same as the small port Sunflare unguided rocket, so that they are as useful in close quarters combat.

Jackhammers are garbage compared to sunflares, screamers are even worse with energy requirements and miniature prox.
It's not that flares in general are overpowered, it's that a majority of the targets are mobile and underpowered in the aspect of strafe ability.
Flares already have 2x splash penalty as well, along with being restricted by ammunition and large port variants being heavy as fuck, this is an excellent suggestion.

You're just used to sun's mini prox. Jacks require a slight modification to fighting style.
The safety fuse on jacks prevents them from being usable in pvp. Any thing close enough to hit, is too close for the safety fuse to arm.
I believe sunflares also had this very same problem at one time, until they applied this very same fix to them.
I think they may have removed the 2x splash back some time ago.

Screamers have a smaller prox than sunflares, a lengthy fuse, require energy to fire and extended delay in return for a bit more damage.
Jackhammers have the same prox as sunflares, a lengthy fuse and restricted ammunition for a tiny boost in damage and slightly less delay.

funny how the "safety fuse" is a limiting factor... I think it's kinda silly, honestly -- should just take them all off of all rockets. Let the risk of detonating too close be determined by those who wield the weapons.
No, just no. Ships like SCP would take advantage of their armor to ram into people without dying.
I can already walk up to people and catch them into a flare net, at least with the safety fuse removed/reduced there is a risk of blowing myself up.

Jackhammers are some real garbage compared to sunflares.... They only fire twice as fast after all. And do 500 more damage. And are 5m/s faster. Did I mention they fire twice as fast?

Jackhammers are probably 4th in my line up of most used weapons. I see no need to change how they work, in the slightest bit. I land just as many jack shots as suns, if not more because of how fast I can get out the rockets.
