Latos N2 is a mining station it should sell mining ships

latos n2 is also a test economy site, and that isnt complete yet. if you dreadfully need mining ships, import them for the time being.

The point is that you can buy ships there that are not usually available in mining stations but not the ones that are. Is this an oversight or deliberate ?

Latos N2 uses a player driven dynamic economy. If I decide to sell a Valkyrie X-1, other players will be able to buy it there.
You can buy all the mining ships you need in Azek anyway.

It's a mining station isn't it? Why wouldn't it have mining ships? It doesn't need players to sell mining ships there to make them available.

That's kind of the point. It needs someone to deliver everything for it to be available. It's an economic model based on actual supply.

Well it's a mining station so it makes sense that it has some stock of mining ships available there, it could maybe not be as high as the default 1000 that most ships available there usually have. NPCs don't currently trade mining ships in N-2, and players don't have much to gain by selling mining ships there so finding a proper mining ship would be as rare as finding a VSANE.

The other ships arent hauled over, but created by the station, right? So, again, please add the BHM's :)

Actually, how about just increasing the profit for the miner ships sold there. Low supply should reward those pilots willing to haul the ships in. Especially the miner moths through grey space.

Adding a profit won’t really drive players to sell ships there. Nearest place to get a mining moth would be across Latos H-2, and it would be a very dangerous and tedious trip with not much profit. Maybe tie it with a substantial faction standing gain? N2 seems to usually lack in procurement missions.

Not everyone has to be. A few such players could well be sufficient...
