are there interface commands for setting a certain VR control scheme (the ones accessible under Options)?

I would like to write an alias so that I can switch on the fly between "Look to Steer" and using only a gamepad to steer.

File this under pie in the sky but some sort of cloud based settings would also solve this problem. It would be nice to go between different OSs with different hardware, VR, tablet, desktop, toaster, game controller, watch with the various configurations. As a lefty, it takes me a long time to get my settings dialled in but I could see this being useful for anyone playing with multiple devices and configurations.

That's really a completely different suggestion, and subject, entirely.

Storing configuration data server-side really has nothing at all to do with allowing the user to bind VR config commands, nor do they serve related goals..
