As a new player on iOS I find it rather hard to get drops from destroyed ships this make missions that require me to get them hard, isn’t their a tractor beam to make it easier, and if their isn’t we really need to add one it’s hard enough to dock on iOS at least give us a tractor beam to get items floating space.

There's no tractor beam for this. You will likely improve with drops and docking with a little more practice.

if your using first person view its quite simple with only a little practice. if your in third person, aim slightly above or below (I cant remember which) and it helps. also, slow down a bit, and dont rush things. if your rushing things, your not doing it right - worry about drops when safe and in a cargo ship; worry about making the space safe when in a combat ship. dont use combat ships for cargo and vice versa. there are some that can do both, but I find it easier and more efficient to split up my ship's purposes.
