Might as well as suggest putting this button on the HUD, since this basically does the same thing.

Hrmm, perhaps non-capships are invalid targets for this weapon, since it would be a little imbalanced against fighters or trade ships? Heavy ships or new pilots would have difficulty evading a long-range missile of this speed, *even* if its still just a missile...

We can always dumb-fire any weapon at anything...
Better to make the weapon itself ineffective vs fighters somehow. At 145 m/s, and contact detonation, it should be easy enough for a fighter to evade though.

+1, maneuverability level though?
Less than average maneuverability. To balance the weapon. But as Faille Corvelle pointed it, the contact detonation makes it hard to get hit by if your are in a fighter.
