希望官方加入牵引光束
真心希望官方加入牵引光束,就是让中心的描点瞄准物品后按某个按键后就能拉到货仓里,而不是靠撞来吧货物放到货仓

There really isnt any issue being tractor-less though. unless your rushing too much or un-use to the controls, its a simple matter to run into your target. the bigger benifit would be for pilots in 3rd person camera, though. I dunno how I think about this.
I'm familiar with the basic idea, it's been knocking around my head for some time.. because rolling over cargo can be a pretty big pain in the arse sometimes, depending on the control medium.
EverSpace uses an auto-tractor to grab things within a certain distance and "draw" them in. But, they don't have as much of a tradeoff scenario as we do, with a lot of undesirable drops, so they just "grab" everything. For us that would be a hassle, and gets into a bigger selection conundrum.. while under fire, or something.
But, there might be room for some kind of "touch-and-hold" tractor situation on Mobile (or touch interfaces, in general), when the player is within a short distance.

I think that the tractor should technically be able to be used at any distance, but the speed of tractoring decreases exponentially per 50m. The base: 10/ms within 50m?. And if the user is moving above 30m/s, the tractor beam, instead of moving closer, should move the floating cargo to align with the path of the ship instead, to aid with fast speed pickups. Certain ships should have more beams than others, which could be programmed just like addons to all work at once, or individually.
Perhaps different types of beams as well, ones that have speed or distance bonuses on certain goods or materials, or even beams that can move mines. Of course, with upgrades, comes addon slots... These beams should have their own slots, and can only hold these beams.
There is even more possibility than power cells have! There could be hundreds of different types of beams, which can perhaps be manufactured to the precise specification.

It should definently not be limitless distance...
If we must have tractor beams (and I don't think we need them, really), they ought to be short ranged, (like ~30m max), and require an addon port (probably large).

Make it work like a mining beam pulls target that's in range
I think this would be more trouble than it's worth, but I would like to see cargo boxes move around!

edit: and add a checkbox by cargo within range to load it into your ships cargo hold....
