I can easily make half a mill in 5 minutes taking widget a to station b
but if I mine a ship full of helio and sell it to station then the next load will be worth peanuts
it is a lot of hard work to get a decent mining ship and once you do get it its only good for hauling weapons about /rant off

Mining is safe(Last trip lasted 90+ hours), asteroid heat is broken, mining is one of the fastest credit generation methods, AFKable, you only need 2/2/x/x/x for Hornet(3X small ports).

to be clear I'm not asking for ore prices to be static but selling one load of ore tanking the price for a week is a bit harsh

+1, especially in Latos N2 and wherever else the dynamic economy is applied. Latos N2's custom mined ore is in high demand because of capital ship manufacturing but the price for ore there doesn't even come close to justify the risk and time spent trying to keep the station supplied.

This is part of an overall problem with the economy and ideally would be part of a full blown overhaul.

Ore prices vary,but its typically anywhere from 20$ for a quickie to 200$ for a night.

+1 and here's a dumb suggestion but why don't stations like Arta C4 actually sell premium mined Heli and then users don't need to freshly mine it themselves and miners have a regular outlet for their product with prices which actually reflect demand (= high for Heli). Now if miners could deliver it a little closer to Latos or Pelatus then they should get extra rewards.

Life is too short for mining, let others to do it for you.
