I know there is a post about suggesting that VO come out with VR for the iphone and that the answer was something along the lines of apple store not having a solid API or something like that. However, what I am suggesting is a bit different.

My suggestion is based off of my experiences playing Elite Dangerous through steam VR and then using the "iVRy" app for iphone to stream the 3D video output (from steam VR on my PC) to the iphone screen. iVRy also enables head tracking so you can look around similar to using an actual VR headset. I'm not sure how difficult it would be to get something similar rigged up so that this could also work for playing VO. Sure, VR on an iphone is shitty compared to gear VR or any of the PC headsets, but it still works and would be nice for those of us that have the PC version of VO and an iphone. I'm sure there are other people like me out there that would like to experience VO in VR but lack the money for a PC headset.

Hmm then again as I am writing this I just remembered that VO is going to be released on steam eventually.... maybe once that happens I could just use the iVRy app to play VO in VR until I can afford a real VR setup.
