A low hanging fruit suggestion:

Like the title suggests, attribute different colors to different Swarm variants. Currently, both Locust and Chaos Swarms leave blue contrails behind them. Perhaps change Locust to red (or green or yellow, whatever). It would add a bit more visual variation between weapons and make Swarm variants instantly recognizable.

Not a single comment about capswarms - there should be three required colours.

Not to mention the fact that a capswarm missiles hits for 3000hp compared to 800 on chaos, surely suggests the projectiles itself should also be about 3 times larger, on capswarms.

I don't agree with distinguishing chaos and locust since they're basically the same thing. I do agree that capswarms should be another color. My vote is either yellow-orange or purple.

I don't see why they shouldn't be a different colour either. Even some rockets get this privilege, I mean, Iceflares and Sunflares are basically the same thing if Locust and Chaos are; but they have a slightly different colour, sounds and explosion effects.
