Ok, so i posted this as I was encouraged by some of my in-game peers, why and why not let lite sub remove the crystal requirement for some ships? I would personally like than on the vultures and it would encourage more budget players like me to stop complaining about being poor and spend a few dollars for lite!

You can already earn more crystals on lite per day than on f2p, f2p only get 10 per day once they hit 4/4/4/4/4, lite can farm 30. thats a few vultures.

But wouldn't it be more appealing to have those crystals removed for some ships instead? Id preffer only getting 10 per day and a gem free vult mk 3 than the other way around

not a mkIII - if you want free stuff, at least its gotta be not higher-end ships. Which, I disagree - the fact you are able to play VO at all I think is fine enough. the restrictions allready available are pretty loose.

I say bring f2p back up to 20 crystals a day, and make lite sub 40.

Does a crystal free vult mk1 for lite sound good then? I can dish out enough trouble with two rails mounted.

Get the bus killer badge. The ec-107 is a crystal free ship, and you can do just as much damage in that as a vulture mk1.

I'm all for upping the levels a little for lite (as I have expressed in the past) or giving them a clear edge otherwise over f2p tier, but I honestly think the extra crystals they recently added for lite do kind of cover what you are asking; you already do not need crystals to buy guns or powercells if you are smart about it, so grinding 30 crystals a day is like 10 vulture mk1s. If you do not want to grind for crystals at all? Get good and stop dying, or go premium.

yeah the 107 is a great little spaceboat ill take it over the ibg/vults in any scenario where i have to deal with people who turn tail.

I think that the centurion (mk1) should be crystal free. especially at corvus stations.
