I found that gem absolutely accindentally, while searching for a sci-fi MMO. Full 3D space, the ships, the gameplay, the atmosphere, the crafting. All of that's good. But there's one thing that IMHO should be upgraded to at least current decade's level.

I mean the interface. When looking at it, you know, you get that nostalgic feeling like from old games. Fonts, colors, design as whole... Well, it's not that surprising given the time, when the game was launched.

But don't you think it's time for it to be rethinked a bit? Say, to be made more modern? And for the chat to be more pleasing to the eye?

In terms of the interface, there's some you can do. For starters, you can find skins at vo-wiki.com that may cater to what you want. Also, in the settings (then interface) there is an option to change the Various chat colours.

The UI had seen changes since launch, but I'll agree with you that it can seem a little dated at times.
