+1 moar capital ship gear ;)
If you equip a "capcwm" you shouldn't be able to equip any turrets.
i feel like it would need more mass, don't know if it just me thinking that, like its a high damaging pew'er, like its on a capital ship so mass isnt that big of a deal if it 2k mass? dont know how capships are because i don't own one sadly :( (someone donate one to me?) but the rest of the stats look normal, but to @Mi5 can't you just leave one turret left? like what is a trident type M and goliath cell grid?
This should not be able to be equipped by a Goliath or Trident, I don't know if the Goliath powercell has the same grid or cap and I don't care either.
The electrical grid of capital ships hasn't been the smoothest of implementations, they also have a lot of arbitrariness to them.
If anything, they both should be removed for a more generic "Capital Power Cell" that can be used on Capital Ships across the board. Eventually I'm sure more verity in cells would be something people would want, and who can blame them.
Also, manu limits are stupid. Stop that.

I like the idea of a CapCWM but I don't like the suggested implementation for manufacturing. You are suggesting that we are required to ring a bunch of queen cores and other rare drops along every time we make one weapon? That is ridiculous. Every five I can tolerate, but requiring that much time investment just killing queens is silly.
RE Mi5's suggestion regarding grid power and such on capships, I don't see why having an alternative to a Megaposi is a bad thing. Both Tridents and Goliaths are woefully under-amed and having a weapon that takes a fair amount of resources to make as a better option to the combat oriented loadout is not a bad thing.

@VikingRanger
It is not ridiculous. It is supposed to be a rare capitol weapon not something to be made in bulk to sell. It doesn't require a conq station to manu so that already is an advantage over other manu items. Sorry if your trader instinct is upset by this.
@mi5 WTF?!?!?!
"The electrical grid of capital ships hasn't been the smoothest of implementations"
Its a number to limit the amount of firepower on a capship. You do get that it is not a real electrical system right?
Goli and Dent cells have the same exact numbers the only difference is what they are named.
"This should not be able to be equipped by a Goliath or Trident"
Umm it is a capitol weapon, do you want to put it on a large port centurion varient?

Of course I know that, regardless it didn't fix infimining or warping, whatever you call the cell.
Goli is an armed escort, TTM is a trade boat. This weapon is for the Capella, being it so rare and powerful.
Make this weapon over 125 grid, at MINIMUM 125 grid.
I don't mind having to put down hive drops like a queen core, or even switching that 100 SS for SSS.

+1 to the OP. Maybe instead of having to reset the mission each time, just require the manu mission to supply a cwm, and the queen cores/defensive matrixes. I like the idea of a very hard to build weapon . Its not over powered because how hard it is to build.
I think the devs (and they can correct me if i'm wrong) use the grid system as a game play balancer. At the listed grid, a player could mount two of these on a Goliath or trident, but nothing else. They would have a front mounted weapon, and no other capital turrets (save for the neut turrets that come with every cap ship. Perhaps the included the neut turrets should be disabled if the grid is maxed out). I think that is fair as a player is already giving up a lot to mount one of these.
@ VikingRanger I've been averaging 1-3 queen cores a day queening for the past few weeks. If i'm doing doing that, just imagine what guilds like HIVE are getting. Make the manu requirements 4 queen cores(same as a tu) and one queen defensive matrix. This would keep it rare but attainable.

@ Mi5 Thats like saying the Ec89 is an armed escort for a Standard Behemoth. Sure it's true in theory, but the moth is better armed than the bus. Likewise the trident is better armed than the Goliath. If the Goliath still came in day 1 configuration, then you'd be correct. As it is, the Goliath is considered a freighter (with a very nicely placed rear defensive turret).
[Beyond the scope of this thread] It would be nice if the devs released a version of the Goliath similar to the day 1 config (Something like 3lp and 2-3 sp). With limited cargo (say 225cu), a higher top speed (~ 65 m/s) and even higher top turbo speed (200 m/s) with a turbo drain of 160/s. (giving the ship a full 25 seconds of turbo till it has to cool down the afterburners). A single rear defensive turret. This ship would be a true (to vo) armed escort/assault platform. It could close the gap, and offer defensive support as well as chase down and engage other capital ships. The limited cargo space would prevent it from being overstuffed with more than 1 ship. Ideally it would be flown a pilot with no back up ship, and a gunner could dock to man the turret. This doesn't exist in the game YET. This is a hope and dream of MINE [/Beyond the scope of this thread]
