Missions auto-plotting routes
Please disable this is the player already has a course plotted. Its very annoying when you plot a course around storms, say to rep/reload during a skirm, only to have it overwritten when you undock.
If I take the time to plot a route, I do not want it overwritten, especially without notification!

+1.
My issue with this feature is not the same as the OPs, but is limited to a mission called "Covert courier Escort" which requires me to escort a TPG transport from Dau K13 to Edras G11, the path includes hostile ships attacking me which I have to kill before I jump from the sector, however the path plotted by the mission goes through various ion storms which renders the mission impossible since the hostile NPCs cannot be found in those ions and causes the mission to fail. I plot a different route but after clearing each sector, the mission re-plots the old route, which is extremely annoying.

"...which renders the mission impossible..."
If you stay in one place long enough the hostiles in the ion storm will find you or be taken out by a Hive bot.
Not saying there's no room for improvement, just an fyi on the current mission. I agree it makes it feel a bit like one's navigation is being hijacked. Not doing so leaves open the possibility to the pilot accidentally leaving the sector before destroying the required targets by simply pressing 'Activate', which leads to additional considerations.

Yes the hive bots can take those NPCs out, but there is already a timer on the mission of 11 minutes starting from when I launch from the TPG station, even with setting a new route avoiding the ion storms, I make it with only a minute or two to spare. Even if I wait for the bots to take the NPC out, there is an atlas I am escorting that I risk losing in the storm to the bots.
