Capship gunners join/leave
Let capships invite gunners in all stations.
On condition, that capship is in NFZ or very close to station, by using existing gunner invite command.
Upon wanting to leave/drop off gunners at desired station, again if said capship is in NFZ or very close.
In all circumstances, gunners must be with dockable standings, except at Corvus stations perhaps.
Now, probably the trickiest part. If gunner lost connection for example, instead of returning straight to homed station, let player rejoin in nearest available station in same system before connection loss, provided sufficient standing. If standing was damaged after entering system, then back to home or Corvus.
Ideally of course it would be if gunners could rejoin in same capship if suffered connection loss.
I'm sure in this modern VO space age shuttles are abundant. :D

Of course it is related, it involves same words : capships, gunners etc.
What I suggest to implement is more direct existing use case.

Is it to hard for them to flyout in an ec-89 and dock?
What happens if you are a gunner in an atlas and it docks with a capship?
Could you do two trips, transfer the gunner and then bring your prefferred ship back after?

@Dread.Pirate.Roberts It's not hard at all. The idea was more around capship being full up with cargo, but still be able to pick up help anywhere without going back across some lengthy distance.
@anthonsh12 You got me there, haven't actually tested this scenario where someone would dock with Atlas with gunner already. The suggestion in general is for capships, since Atlas etc. can dock anywhere already.

@Inhibitor My suggestion was to use the Atlas as a shuttle to get a gunner on to a capship. If you cant, it might be easier for the developers to impliment.
I suppose this doesnt help as much as your suggestion would, but it would be better than not being able to do anything.

I am going to have to say no.
We can already over stuff Cappies - This may make it a touch easier to get a gunner but it also allows the cappie to remain over stuffed.

That useless EC-89 wastes 125cu of cargo space for each noob docked.
