Only available at capital stations, its a mining beam MkII whose color is decided by your ship color. Exact same stats as the MkII. Must be LTS to buy, obviously.

+1, but maybe not black. It wouldn't really work. Space is dark.

black would absolutely work. the mining beam is just a 2d image/animation anyway. the background isnt black (unless you disabled background picture). also you often are just in front of the roid, so you'd still see the black beam.
