Reduce the energy requirement, the small prox area already makes them much harder to use than regular flares and jacks.

also the low splash damage screamers do less damage when they detonate within 20m than a jackhammer at 20m

i don't know if the splash damage spread is linear but

jackhammer - 2k spread over 60m so 60% of 2000 damage ~1300 damage @ 20m from explosion center

screamer - 3k spread over 30m so 30% of 3000 damage ~1000 damage @ 20m from explosion center

screamers move quite a bit faster this coupled with the low detonation radius makes getting inside the safety fuse very easy.

The extra ammo doesn't compensate at all for how much harder they are to land hits with.

I'd suggest dropping the energy requirement to 30 instead of 60 and the proximity fuse to 25m and a modest damage buff to 3500 damage. keep in mind the damage buff will serve to offset the extremely low splash damage but will reward direct hits greatly (which are very difficult to land)

I've seen a couple pilots who are surgical with their screamers. I assume this is a skill based item. I suggest training with the screamers and getting good with them. If you need something less skillful, use sun flares or jacks.

I love screamers. It would be nice to have a lower energy requirement though.
