+1 Crazy Spence. As long as people still have to haul their shit to wherever, I'm fine with letting them reassign ownership of said shit without taking it out of the station to do a juggling act.

I do think that the station should charge a minimum fee of a million credits for an escrow type service, though, and that should scale up as the volume of the trade increases. This way there's choice involved -- do you pay the fee for the safety and convenience, or take the risk of trading in space cheaply? And some stations or factions could have trade restrictions or additional levies on certain goods, just to make things more interesting (and this could eventually tie into a proper contraband system).

+1 CS/Inc's escrow system but only at faction/subfaction stations. Corvus, M7, and/or conquerable stations should force you to trade outside, in the old fashioned way. If you want to do a safe bulk transfer, it should happen OUTSIDE grey.

So long as that faction/subfaction exclusion was ONLY corvus and M7/conq, +1.

Because that would include tunguska, tpg, ineubis, aeolus, etc etc stations that are within grey space - which that corvus m7 conq mention of yours would not include other factions that happen to be in grey, and would allow in station transfer of items.

Of course, corvus is kinda lawless don't even care if you kill corvus POS at their station... and conq stations are basically vegas... but everywhere else there should be some kind of in station player trade capability.
