There should be a way to pick the color of your ship independent of whatever you were using last on the mission. This needs to include the possibility for livery as well.

A means to repaint ships would also work for a few credits and some paint as a mission...

Ffs, just add a means to repaint ships and maybe sink some credits out of the game in the process...

PaKettle: it dosnt matter what you used last "in the mission", if you want it to be purple, buy a ec which is purple, then take the mission and your capship will be purple.

The point xeha is there should be a way to explicitly select the color - not based on what ship you had during the mission.
