Make ordinance ammo quantity dependant on ship size

For example a revenant can pack the standard 12 jackhammers a behemoth could pack 40.
other ship/ammo to be discussed in the thread.

That only makes sense if the ordinance is now being stored in the cargo hold. I always envisioned the ordinance being part off a modular weapon pack that is placed in the weapon port.

bigger ship, bigger pack.

Floats got it right, here. Now, if the weight of a weapon was reduced as ammo was used that would be nice, but it shouldnt be dependent on the ship's cargo capacity.

Nah, but weight should change as noted above, and ship explosions (intensity and radius) should change based on how much unused ammo is aboard in the ports and in the hold. For example a trident with 800 avalons should be quite the explosion :)

shit, do you want anything left in the sector afterwards?

I don't feel like overloading the purpose of cargo hold capacity is a good idea here. In order for that to make sense, the devs would need to re-balance all of the ships and their cargo capacities against popular/powerful weapon combos.

It didn't work well for ships docking bays either...

I'm with ARF on this one.

The "Doomsday XC" should be a thing...

The "Doomsday XC" should be a thing...
Yer making me swell :}

Ammo is contained by the port/weapon system and for now not re loadable in flight...

Capital ships on the other hand should get a larger version then the small ships...
Perhaps a small and large Capital port / version ? <SHRUG>

Why are traders afraid of a Behemoth that can maybe defend its self?

Balance the cargo space with the ammo... unless they are just full of it on thr objection.
