I'm am sick of hearing "how do i dock" 5-10 times a day (seriusly).

I suggest the devs put a registration code in the manual so people have to read it in order to play. make sure when the code window pops up the first time you start up the game up pops "the code is hidden IN the manual. read it."

Or force them to go through a training sector, and have a passworded Skip option, but they can't talk ingame during the training. (to prevent, "whats the password to skip the training?")

This could work with Eldrads idea of a noob sector. Maybe there could be an option to turn on a help screen that shows you around and shows you controls.

Like when it says *Hit F1 for commands* now. But much much more advanced.

yeah, I want to make a training sector but that doesn't have super high priority right now.

either that or give a test to the noobs on the manual. just like 10 questions about the manual, simple things and have the questions rotate, it would be a lot to ask but its easier than making an entire sector isnt it? if they dont pass then they have to go back and pass the test till they do, problem is that cheating is easily done with 2 windows open at the same time find a way to fix that and you would be set
