Allow NPCs and bots to receive temp KoS penalties when shooting within NFZ
For example: Several times I've been shot in Bractus C-5 by CtC bots within the NFZ and nothing happens to them, while if I shoot back, I get temp KoS.
Imo they should receive temp kill-on-sight penalties if shooting within NFZ.

It has been like that for 13 years now?

It should be possible to extend the "you are free to defend yourself against player XYZ for 15 minutes without repercussions" to bots. It makes sense regarding the CtC. Sure - it'd require atleast taking a hit by each bot so you could "kill them all off". But why not?

CtC bots should not be entering Bractus C5 anyway - Easier for the devs to just prevent the bots from going there then trying to program in a bunch of extra code to control a temp kos for them.
They don't enter c5 that is where they launch from pakettle
Really? Show you how much I do CtC...
Then it is a very simple fix.... Have each CtC spawn in a random non station sector.

This is CTC description from vo-wiki:
Capture the Cargo is the battle between Itani and Serco for Purified Xithricite Ore. This ore can be used to construct the Neutron Blaster MkIII. The competition is weekly, from Sunday to Saturday. Only the members of the nation that has the highest amount of Purified Xithricite at the end of the round are able to buy Neutron Blasters MkIII during the following week. Itani cargo transports depart from Bractus Watch (Bractus C-5) and head to Coranis Watch (Divinia M-14), the Serco transports depart from Daltas Hold (Sedina L-2) and head to Catequil Outpost (Pyronis L-6).
CTC bots cannot appear out of thin air in random non station sector. It's basically a timed trade goods transport just as escort missions are.
You are an old player so you probably remember that at some point we had serco and itani convoys going through greyspace to and from various subfaction stations. Those convoys shot at hated players too.

UIT convoys still do that occasionally, and of course so do minor faction convoys if you happen to be KOS with any of those. I have to keep an eye out for TPG and Orion.
So then it is in fact more then just the CtC bots acting out.... That actually may be worth the dev time to make them respect the local standing and nfz rules.
@Bojan - Any mission can spawn a bot at any location- its a simple matter to program it. Changing the CtC mission to spawn bots in non station sectors is a much simpler change then rewriting the bot AI.

Bojan's point is about immersion, not programming. Of course the devs can make bots spawn wherever. They could also make queens leave fabulous glowing rainbow trails behind them. Doesn't mean they should. (Though, on second thought...)
Having the bots assemble at a remote location would not break immersion - if fact it would more likely be done that way due to security issues.
