With all the transit between stations I often remember the audio adverts at different stations that would intermittent radio advertising heard in each unique zone. Like the golden days when I played "Earth and Beyond"

Little audio bytes could be inserted within the same background music or in the same audio track.

Just would be nice to hear some unique adverts on loop at each Station to help remember where I am.

Great idea, but...

As a person who formerly made "audio bytes and unique adverts" the cost for this does not come cheap. In fact, custom projects for gaming companies are usually steeper. Especially so for a three person indie company. The monetary amount for voice acting alone would be a small fortune. We can hope though, one day.

How about some station-pegged bot that just shouts in sector chat some stuff about the stations offers and requests?

@ meridian I think that could be addressed by giving players the option to turn it off. I do think something like this would significantly add to the atmosphere- but I'll take A-Dawg as being accurate on the cost and say this should wait. I don't want to start seeing something like text adverts as a cheap alternative.
