Cap ship commands
Expand the current commands of park and follow with the following commands.
Dock - Makes the ship dock to the station in the same sector, but only if it can. Extend it to be able to take a destination as well.
Undock - Makes the ship undock. And wait for further instructions.
Dest - Have the ship plot a course to the specified destination, and wait their for further instructions
Retrieve - Scans the area around it and picks up any floating cargo it detects.
Jett - Make the ship jett any cargo in the cargo hold for you.
Mine - Makes the ship target and mine rhe asteroids and ice shards near it, with a paramater to accept temperature where it needs to stop mining.
Load/Unload - Loads or unloads specific cargo between the cap ship, and the station inventory.
Extend the current furie commands to the cap ships as well.
Commands must be accepted whether you are in the same sector as the cap ship or not

+1 to most of the ideas here. It sounds like they are already planning to give owners the ability to remotely drop cargo. To what degree remains in question. I hope it is item and quantity specific.
+0 to mining. I have no objection, though I also would like to see some sort of remote self defense for the ship along with this.
+0 Load / Unload Do you mean at capital stations with capship docks or all stations? If so this could possibly be done via plugins. If you mean regular stations, I'd love it but....

So, adding more commands is not that hard. There are more fundamental issues that caused us to stop adding features, like making sure we didn't create a "new furie bug", where capships involved in remote-combat avoided factional repercussions on the owner. That sort of thing.
But, aside from that we also need to re-work some of the technical underpinnings of NPC-vs-PC ship movement, and how "remote" capships are handled, before we add more commands.
All that said.. Suggestion Noted: as we do intend to add a lot more commands. And far more than that.

Sounds like a dogs breakfast.
It's not so terrible, really, every time we have to expand some game feature beyond its originally intended scope, it requires re-writing. That's life with a long-running codebase.
I'm just explaining it so people understand we aren't limiting the command-set out of some arbitrary laziness or dislike of capship commands. There's just some more work that needs to be done.

Im sure you understand that from a user perspective, an interface is desired. In the battlefield nobody wants to be typing in commands to do all of these things Dilan speaks of. None of which bodes well for the mobile crowd that GS has been so actively supporting.
Which brings up a good point that capships are ideal for mobile pilots in that, they do not need to be too coordinated in order to pilot the ship.
All of these many unseen commands are turning into a cluster$@%#of Easter eggs that the veteran user base has to explain to noobs.
