When the universe is expanded (and i hope this is done sometime soon) it would be cool to have computer player traders - not just stupid bots but actual players flying around trading. This would give more targets to pirates and effect the overall economic ballance - and if you made an entire race just for the comuter players, they could begin to hold grudges and hunt pirates that are alway pirating their traders.

This kind of addition would add to game play later if not many players are on at one time. With a greatly expanded universe, if the player base doesn't increase a lot, there will be a lot of empty space...

I think you are suggesting TraderBots, only better? It's in the works. Right now the bots can't wormhole jump, but someday...

Does this mean that the 350 bots guarding s17-18 will follow you all the way to s7? Your run outta rockets pretty quickly, considering how they can chase you from beyond radar range now...

of course you don't have to make _all_ bot be able to jump...

or you could have a limiting code so they onl chase you for so far before returning...
