Touchscreen restricted gameplay
I was enjoying my space adventures with a controller until I got my but kicked with some moves I'd never be able to perform with my platform. I suggested making a new game that could utilize all the work that's been put into vendetta. I think, instead of being able to switch from physics to flight mode, a player could switch from flight mode to turret mode. At first it doesn't seem like much, but think of this. In flight mode you have forward and reverse propulsion buttons and tilting controls bank and pitch. Switching from flight to turret your ship will maintain its velocity for awhile allowing you to control up and down with buttons and turn and pitch with tilt. Being able to switch from flight to turret quickly is key and I think can add some interesting dog fight moves. Radar should always show players no matter distance giving more information the closer they are. And warps should be determined by the level of propulsion of engines rather then flying to a certain point. This takes a lot of focus of the piloting aspect of cargo runs but allows the players attention to focus elsewhere like chat and pirate activity. Excellent pk and rpg game. And add space ships, I wish I could keep up.
Turret mode.... setup your controller I have forward and reverse on my triggers, joystick for up down left right . Learn to control your ship you'll be fine
What are you talking about?
With DB anything is possible

xperia, DB is essentially a controller - you just get to move the buttons around a screen.
fazerfire, most maneuvers in PvP aren't limited by platform or control scheme; while some platforms ARE easier to use when playing VO, what you can do on a mobile platform can also be done on PC, and Vice versa.
as for your actual suggestion, im not entirely sure what you are getting at - could you clean up your suggestion a bit?
regarding jump-out distance, this is related to requirements by the computer of your ship, according to the game story somewhere; large objects like asteroids and stations disrupt your PC's ability to plot jump coordinates or something like that. i.e. its purposeful.
Since I think you are new to VO, perhaps these links will be useful for you, I suggest you take a looksee at them:
1) a video tutorial made that explains the installation of plugins on any system, except Ipad and Kindle Fire (?) devices
http://waa.ai/Voaplugin
2) a repository of many plugins

What makes you think a noob is gunna know what DB is or where to find it?
A better suggestion would be for Guild to support their own plugin repository so that we don't have to have these threads anymore. No offence to the OP, how would you know about this plugin or any others for that matter let alone where to find them.
