Guild Shared Inventory in stations
Allow a shared cargo space /inventory in every station rent-able by CO/Councils upon vote mechanism to share stuff with access rights deposit withdraw rights.
Rent is taken from guild bank.
If a guild has no longer sufficient credits to pay the rent; all items of a rent space are automatically sold to cover the rent and the exceeding money is placed in guild bank.
For deposit items must be in the guild member station cargo space, in the same station than guild station rent space.
To withdraw items guild member must be in the same station than the guild storage is.
Withdrawn items are place in the local station guild member inventory.
If the guild member has insufficient licences/faction requirement for the equipment, he cannot withdraw it. (you still cant get a valk if you're serco).
Access rights are separated in 3 categories: Addons, Commodities and ships.
Guild inventories can be visible in member inventory with a specific button or under a specific tree
if he has sufficient guild privileges.
You can have has many guild inventories as long as the guild can pay for it.
Though only one guild inventory is allowed by station, including conquerable stations.

Along with this, I would include a similar player option where players can create shared inventories not associated with a guild with which they could create plugins to adapt said inventory to facilitate a DECENT player to player trade mechanism. Again for the 100th time.

giving guild storage would be nice, but I'd be more for the construction of storage containers, deployed via a beacon somewhere in space. dock to load/unload cargo, prevent repair/refill functions. the storage unit could form the basis of a player-owned and manufactured station. I'd prefer to leave the current NPC stations as they are.

+1 BUT you are just suggestion a small part. lets use the existing system and have something better after it, dont restrict it to guild only:
shared storage system based on the existing key system. this way non guild people can create shared storage too.

For non guilded players i'd rather have a special trade/barter interface in the station for player to player exchanges. I dont see the point in having shared free inventory with everyone. They should be some advantage/incentive to be guilded.
Also an auction system could be nice, you put stuff to sell in a station for a minimum price and a maximum duration and other players can bid on it
(all stations in the same faction could have the auction proposal listed in this interface and route to the corresponding station).

Somehow we have mastered interstellar travel and yet don't have any reliable system for pushing boxes from one cargo bay to another?
