Consequences for attacking/killing same nation blockades.
Players who kill the blockade voys of the same nation in Ukari A-10 and Edras I-2 should face negative consequences. Say you are Serco and you bring your trident to Edras I-2, and you attack the Serco Fleet from your trident, the Serco fleet should classify you as an enemy for 15 - 30 minutes. This would result in the teradon tracking your trident down and killing you. Killing these forces should result in loss of standing, just like what happens when the CtC bots are killed.
I take it that someone did something during a recent blockade that you don't like.
I've been watching both Sercos and Itani players killing their own military without repercussions for a few months now. I think that a nation's military would look down upon their own members fragging their other members. Seems out of place. At a minimum they would defend themselves.
+1
Having the fleets fight back against aggressors makes sense -- as it already does with convoys. Loss of actual standing is unneccessary and excessive, though. It is unmonitored space for one thing, and there is no contest associated with blockade kills (as there is with ctc -- which I assume is why the standing loss is in place for those kills).
There should be a penalty if there are any survivors in a battle exceeding more then say 5 minutes.
This would correspond to the time it would take to transmit a mayday that could ID the attackers.
Also a communication blocker add-on could prevent the report and (perhaps long term) prevent player comms as well effectively preventing them from calling for help.
This should also apply to CtC bots as well.

The OP only specifies same-nation, but really this should apply in general. I am a tri-KOS UIT. Currently I can sit right in the middle of a Serco or Itani blockade killing them one by one, and only the individual ships I've damaged bother to fight me. The rest just sit there and watch me killing their dudes. It's lame. They should probably all attack me on sight (isn't that what "Kill On Sight" means??), and they definitely should start ganking me once I attack one of them.
Maybe part of this is supposed to be a safety mechanism for accidental friendly fire, so that you can defend a blockade without pissing the whole thing off if one of the idiot NPCs flies in front of you. If that's the case, it should be changed to an escalating process. But even so, that should only apply to non-hated people.

+1, though I agree with Pizza's much more so.
It's my understanding that the Blockades (and CtC?) were never re-written with the introduction of Kourier to properly handle (in)active state changes of sectors. As such, if you're in a blockade sector under specific conditions when it forms the defenses will behave appropriately but then after the sector goes inactive the AI will not reset properly.
