Vendetta Welfare System
I am starting up a welfare system for new traders in-game for people with scores of less than 2000. A new trader will be able to borrow up to 25,000 credits, and can do with them what they will, but they will not be able to get another loan until the pay the welfare system back 150 or 200% of what the borrowed. This is helpful if they know a good trade route, but dont quite have the capital to make a lot of money off of it. Of course, this system will have to believe in the goodness of traders, that they will be thankful for the kick start the system gave them and pay the system back.
I'll probably create a new character called : Interstellar Trading Fund or something along those lines, within the next few days. Of course, it'd be easier if this could be made into a bot.

Why do you need a bot? I've given personal loans to several players.
So that I don't have to handle all of the transactions, plus it might lead to corruption...i.e. I might try to take funds away, I wont I swear on my word that I wont. But there would always be suspicion...I'm just trying to create a system to aid poor traders and give them a jump start into the world.
just help out the new players. I routinely give small loans (well more like gifts actually) to players just starting out.. usually just enough to get a decent engine/batt and 6 cargo for their bus. :)
Oh, I do it too, but I think there should be an official system.
*******.
make em learn to make their own damn cash. this is the problem with the world these days. everyone is too weak to do their own work.

this will just give them a small jump start...like a student loan...maybe we'll start charging interest...
i would approve if it was done by the game itself. and after 12 actual play hours you had to go to your homesector and pay it off, or intrest piled up. way up.
Yeah, I tried setting up a dude, it was kind a weird, didn't work as I had planned, so it definitley cant be person run. And it was definitley weird having Phoenix ask for money and say he would pay it back "in time." So if it was person run, it would definitley be taken advantage of.
