Luxen's collection of mine suggestions
1) Repair mine
A mine that fires an AoE nanite blast, repairing nearby ships. Launcher holds 4 mines, and maximum repairable amount is 1200.
2) Recharge mine
The opposite of a drain mine, the recharge mine gives powercells a blast of extra energy. when properly placed, good for racing?
3) Ldrain mine
Merging drain mines with Lmines; instead of damaging health the mine saps energy from your powercell. Amount drained from players makes the mine last longer? Can it boost nearby mine's time before decay?
4) Beacon mine
Doesnt do anything, but it looks like any other mine. Good for spooking other players or bots.
5) Force mine
Creates a small force feild around the mine, until the mine runs out of charge. Doesnt move, but could potentially provide collision damage. Since it uses sheild technology, can put forth 650 points of sheild damage, and when depleted the mine is destroyed...

+1 I like 1, 4, 5 alot
1) A repair turret would make more sense.
2) Why? We have VO magic for that.
3) Conflict of interest.
4) Players get spooked by mines? Also, the name does not fit the description.
5) This would be useful for blocking docking bays if the station strike forces did not automatically attack mines as soon as they are laid.

Edited #5 for something I forgot (force is a sheild; can be destroyed with a bit of blaster fire)
Besides, you can't lay mines inside of a NFZ; do the conq stations and capshipyards not have one?
