Updater speed indicator?
I don't need 3 decimals updated every millisecond either.
I'm using it to update my favorite game, not calculate the speed to get my rocket to orbit.
I just want a rough estimate of the download speed.

I'd like to see "127KB/sec" or "3KB/sec" or whatever next to the % on the updater.
It's nice to know what speed a download is consuming.

euhm:
I got 1.9mb in 13 seconds
so that will be about "150 kb/s" :D
this method good enough for ya :D
cheers

for some reason i always cap at 8 kb/s, no matter what i'm doing. which sucks.
I think the old version of the updater, which some people still have, indicates the percentage complete or the rate of download. The new ones don't. I too would like to see this feature. But realistically there's no proof positive way to indicate the real rate of download, since any internet connection speed constantly fluctuates. But it does give a pretty good estimate nevertheless.

If you just want a rough estimate, isn't the graphical progress bar enough for you then?
