Limit repeat-dueling abuse
I suggest that after a player beats another player at a /duel ten times, that all subsequent /duels should not provide any more increase to their duel rating. Some of us have been working a long time to try to climb the Duel Ladder, and when other players cheat the system it undermines those of us who are actually in it for the challenge.
Nice catch. I suggest both account should be punished for such obvious abuse.
Yes, nice reporting of cheating in the forums. Just like incarnate prefers!
-1 Just because players evolve over time and they may desire to have another chance after 10 duels. Better would be a timer between repeat duels.

My vote would be a monthly cap of six duels rather than a timer. That way you can have a few duels in a row if you want, while still rate-limiting attempts to abuse the system. (I chose six so that you could have up to two best-two-out-of-three sessions per month per person.)
^that would be fine as well
A weekly cap of six duels would be more appealing to me. But I like Pizza's idea better than the OP.

Assuming Guild programmed the ladder correctly each victory should count less in the standings. By the time your up to 10 the duel should be essentially meaningless.

+1 to PizzasGood's modded.
6/7 per week seems reasonable. But you know if I saw a duellist with over like 2k duel rating, but never heard of them or their reputation for combat is worse than Chumboat, it's obvious that they don't belong there, their duel history shows that.
