IRL credits for in game activities
While I would not suggest a credit for every activity in game...
It seems like a small credit/discount award toward a premium subscription would be a good way to encourage specific in game activities.
Bounty hunting might earn .01 cent for each successful kill.
Taking a Conq. Station might earn a penny each time
Specific Missions could also be crafted with up to a 10 cent reward...
and so on.
Perhaps others might be able to flesh this out better.....

Very bad idea, WAY too easy to abuse. If this were implemented, I'm pretty sure I could quit my job and become a parasitic employee of guild software.

With the numbers PaK proposed, no, you couldn't quit your job. Even optimistically assuming your expenses are only $1,000/month and you manage to sell 200 VO subs for $5/month to cover that, every day you'd need to capture 4,447 stations, claim 444,700 bounties, or complete 444.7 ten-cent missions. Currently, doing that many station captures is literally impossible -- it works out just over three per minute, and there are currently only three stations, all of which necessarily take more than a minute to capture due to the 60-second delay after dropping turrets (and even approaching that level of station capture would be severely game-disrupting, getting Inc mad at you). To claim almost half a million bounties per day would mean averaging better than five per second; only doable via a very obvious bot operation (getting Inc mad at you). Ten-cent missions would be the most viable option, but you'd still have to do 18.5 per hour, and you'd still be very obvious to the devs (he might overlook it at the small scale, but reselling subs is against the rules and would definitely get Inc mad at you if done on the large scale).
Not having Inc mad at you would, of course, be a necessary component in any scheme to support yourself by playing or abusing VO.

Perhaps I didnt make it clear this would be purely a credit against your sub cost and I should add that it should be limited so that the cost of a sub would never be less then the lowest bulk rate (1 year price). This is simply a way to move the f2p players into a real sub
the money would in no way be redeemable for any other purpose.

No we got you.

"the lowest bulk rate (1 year price)."
Actually, the lowest bulk rate is the 2-year price, which averages out to $6.67 per month. The 1-year price is a whopping $7.50/mo! The 2-year price does come with a catch, though: Pay Pal does not support recurring payments with periods greater than 12 months, so you have to manually pay it every two years instead of letting it auto-pay. I say it's worth it to avoid the exorbitant 1-year pricing model. I'm made of cheese, not money!
