Turn the queen drop rates back up!
Queening used to be fairly worth it,But lately i've not encountered a single drop,And i've spent a fortune on ships and weapons,And i've not even made my money back!

If the rates go back up, prices will drop and queen cores will become pretty worthless again. Do consider this!

I have been destroying many Hive Queens lately and received a decent amount of drops.
So -1.

...I'll tell you when i kill another 10 without a single drop
It can be frustrating but I've been through spells of 20+ queens with no drops. It's normal...
-1. Just kill more queens.
"And i've spent a fortune on ships and weapons"
Then you're doing it wrong. Killing queens shouldn't cost much of anything, just some reloads and fresh paint. Selling the scrap and ore should cover that entirely, if you're some sort of pauper who needs to worry about such things.

Just wait for someone to go by hauling queen drops and vent them. It ups the drop chance to around 100%
You've just had bad luck. Keep rolling.
Im surprised about the downvotes. Funnily it seems to be the people who were longer around and could stockpile. Wouldnt it just be fair if it would be even?
Nothing has changed. It's just been a string of bad luck with the random number generator. Any change to make the items drop more frequently than they already do would in the long run only imbalance things.
I've been telling him that for ages but he won't believe it!
I thought people would just eventually believe all the vets, but I guess not.
THE DROP RATE NEVER CHANGED. SOMETIMES YOU HAVE BAD LUCK.

Sadly the eleetist attitude prevents people from believing them

Nah, Hoban. The problem is just that most people don't have an intuitive grasp of how random numbers work. They hear something like "one in ten" or 10% chance, and they correctly assume that they should average one drop for every ten kills over the long run, but they fail to realize just how much short-term variability there can be. As a result, they say stupid things like, "There's no way I could kill eight queens and not get a drop! Either something's wrong or the devs changed the drop rate, because this should never happen!"
But in reality, if the chance of dropping is 10%, there's a 34.7% chance of killing ten bots with no drops and a 12.1% chance of killing twenty bots with no drops. That's because a 10% chance of success means a 90% chance of failure, and that applies every single time. It doesn't matter whether you've failed a hundred times in a row already; although it's very unlikely to be in that situation in the first place, being in that situation has no impact at all on how likely your next attempt will be. You're still going to have a 90% chance of failure.
I don't know what the actual chances are on queen drops; I'm only using 10% as an example (which should correspond to Arklans dropping Avalons). Things like hive posis, cores, and such probably have lower individual numbers than that, but there's probably a combined chance of getting at least one of any of those that's near 10%, give or take a few percent. That's how it has seemed to me, anyway. You could get more accurate numbers by killing a few thousand queens and tracking how much stuff you get.
