Solid Fuel Boosters
In order to facilitate PvP specific activities, it would be very useful to have an equip-able item with a finite amount of fuel. Essentially a secondary boost meter that could allow for either
A) Higher top speeds (which may cause technical network problems)
or
B) Temporary boost-speeds without the loss of energy. With the intent to allow someone to chase down a target and pew pew them to death.
To some degree, rockets/missiles were supposed to serve the role of hunting and killing targets. However they have their own drawbacks, along with taking a certain amount of stat balancing due to how fast they do damage.
So this intends to give pirates the means to both chase down a target and destroy them, without causing headaches to ship or weapon balance. Another avenue is perhaps that they could cause your boost-acceleration to be amplified temporarily to allow for better cross-sector chases.
I haven't logged online in ages, so maybe this isn't something that's needed. But I thought of it, and here we are.

First, welcome back you ninny. :)
We already had suggestions like this (afterburner) but Raging John specifically refused to even consider a utility port for equipping additional widgets.
