Mini Concussion Rail Gun
While discussing PvP strategies with a guildmate today, a nice idea for a 1000 Player-Kill reward came to my mind: A Mini Concussion Rail Gun.
First the stats, then let me explain how I imagine it to work:
Mini Concussion Rail Gun:
Damage: 100
Speed: 520 m/s
Energy: 30/blast
Delay: 1.1s
Mass: 300kg
Targeting: None
Ammo: 5
Port: Small
Range: Similar to that of the Advanced Rail Gun
Level Requirement: 12/12/10/-/-
Special Requirement: 1000 Player-Kill badge
About the weapon:
The Concussion Rail Gun is the more deadly little brother of the Concussion Rail Gun. The bullets are colored pink. The gun is very light and causes very few damage. The special effect is to cause the enemy ship to drastically spin upon contact, making the player losing control over his ship for about 3 seconds. The concussion should be comparable to a situation in which you get hit by 2 followup sunflare rockets, to give an idea of how it'd feel.
Since it is such a mean weapon, you only get to have 5 tries to hit, make every one of them count!
What is it for:
I imagined it to be a great tool for pirates to throw fleeing ships of their course temporarily to catch up and punish them for not paying! Of course it'd be a very interesting tool in 1v1 combat and group combat. And we'd finally have a prize for the 1000 PK badge. Tactically I see this weapon as a support gun. In combination with a Mega Positron Blaster on a Corvus Greyhound it could be deadly in chase. A Cormaud/Valkyrie or a Hornet even may also be fun with this weapon equipped.

+1, and +1 to residues too, if we can do that. However, should we also consider keeping a K/D ratio of sorts on this, too?
K/D ratios are irrelevant in VO man.
