Additional Option on Trident Keys
Add a check box on the trident user keys that allows or disallows people to enter a turret once docked.
This will enable trident pilots to give someone a key for repairs or escort, but disallow them to shoot the captain's turrets.

At what point is it ok for one player to shoot a turret but not the other guy?

Uhhh, Dirty its pretty simple....
The pilot of the trident decides that point. This would give trident pilots the freedom to repair or escort people without the risk of them firing the turrets.
As in, a trident pilot could offer support to neutral parties without risk of the neutral party attacking on of their enemies with trident pilot's turrets.
I mean, come on...you never wanted to just put a safety on your turrets?

You're building a feature out of lack of trust. Why did you give someone keys to your dent when you don't trust them?
Trust is not binary. You don't either trust somebody completely or not trust them at all. It's a continuum.
I guess Dirty is the kinda guy who'd keep teaming up with Leeroy Jenkins, time and time again.

Nah Harpo, a plugin doesn't have that kind of control. There are plugins to hop between turrets, and plugins to fire the turrets on auto, but a plugin cannot disable the fire button for a client that doesn't have it installed...

The Trident Captains kit let's you lock out all turrets but when you undock it is no longer active
