Fix Latos M-7
Drop a standard capital ship station (e.g., Odia M-14) in there a reasonable distance from the warp-in point. If you MUST keep the carebear fog despite it not being necessary with a properly sized station, at least make the radar extenders work it in.
The current gigantic, ugly, 'we'll make this just because we want to see if we can!' station has two major problems.
First, the trident pilots are bitching about how long it takes to fly there and replace their tridents; frankly, it's hard to quantify that bitching, and that in turn makes it harder to arrive at an appropriate 'death penalty' buff. Maybe 7 minutes plus 10 minutes is right, or maybe the long flight distances involved in the current M-7 layout make that too harsh. Make it easier to get to by, at a minimum, getting rid of the ridiculous station size. Nobody wants to fly around something the size of that piece of shit.
Second, the fog plus the lack of radar extension effectiveness plus the sheer ridiculous size of the station equal a carebear level of protection otherwise found only in the training sectors. It is, in effect, designing to prevent (or at least make as unlikely as possible) spontaneous player interactions in that system. With the ever reduced trident build requirements (nerfed amounts, Walmart shopping at Latos N2 for all components), there's just no need to pull this crap at M-7 anymore.

I have a cousin who has successfully hunted builders in M7. The problem imo rather is that you need the ability to drop a buoy near any drops that remain on the players radar at any distance so that drop recovery is possible- especially if you are working alone.
I happen to like the m7 station.

Like it or not, its design's effect is to hugely hinder player interaction at that location. There is no justification for that level of protectionism, and it's clearly a PITA for trident owners.
The fact that you can get lucky by sitting in front of a given dock and waiting, with an XC in the station to scoop whatever drops if you're able to find it in the soup, doesn't change the fact that it's designed to basically make that outcome a total crapshoot.

Yes, and the last relevant comment was as follows:
I don't have any problem with swapping out the old station for a more "traditional" station scale. Or possibly just trying rotate it if people are nostalgic about the current station.
Consider this a bump for red-text action, sweetie :)

Oh, it's still on my radar. But there's no way in holy hell it's going to happen until after GDC. Maybe in April I'll be sane again.
It's more a matter of knowing the main entry points and having directional bearings for getting to the station. I've yet to kill someone at a dock.
+1.
