XX Heavy Extender Buff
This thing is retarded. It eats an L port, takes 4 grid, and weighs 2000Kg...only gives 2000m extension.
The S-port variant costs less, only weighs 200Kg, takes only 2 grid...and still gives 1000m extension.
Nerf the weight on the Heavy Extender down to 500Kg - it's not a weapon, it shouldn't weigh more than a tube of prox mines :P Slightly more than double the added mass is fine for double the radar extension range.

I only need 1000m in storms, the heavy version is useless.

First, Xang Xi makes the small radar. Ineubis makes the large radar.
Second, >1000m radar detection is absolutely useful, especially for mining purposes and conquerable station storm battles.
Third, +1 to buffing the Ineubis Heavy Storm Radar Extender to have less weight, or alternatively making the small extender weigh more.

You clearly need to drink more, greeny.
Either buff this thing so it extends radar further or reduce its mass.
I mean, what possible radar range could justify 2000Kg of mass? Were we to go by the range:mass ratio of the S-port version, it'd be 10,000m. Ok, cool...but what the hell would you do with the ability to see that far?
alternatively making the small extender weigh more
Example numero uno of why VO's ship and item options are widely received by new players with a resounding "Meh." But sure, let's make it -- and all other scanners, spoofers, and blockers -- weigh 10x more than they currently do. Just to make everything suck that lil' bit extra.

You are making it seem like 2000Kg is some absurdly huge amount. Here are some other things in game that weigh around 2000kg:
Gat Mk2 (2000kg)
Hive Gat (2000kg)
Lmines (2400kg)
Swarms (2500kg)
We attached the above items without ever thinking of their weight -- so why the sudden freak out about a radar weighing 2000kg? Late night drinking?
I think giving radar a decent, but not overbearing weight is an appropriate counter to the ability to see in a storm sector. I agree the difference between the two radars is pretty big (weight wise), but "having weight" isn't necessarily bad.

You'll note that (1) each and every item you listed is a rather advanced weapon, and (2) the Heavy Radar Extender does exactly nothing besides suck up an L-port that would otherwise hold such a weapon while giving one only 1000m more range than an extender that weighs 1800Kg less. Not to mention all other non-functional addons being in the relatively low weight range.
But yes, lots of drinking.
