Ok, im a new player and i might just be dealing with a few vets, but i find its extremibly annoying that when i go to turbo, i can only go in that one direction. It doesnt make sense to me, why not be able to control the ships direction while using turbo? I think this might be a good idea to fix.

If you want to go fast, you sacrifice the ability to maneuver. It's really not complicated, and there's nothing to "fix."

You can still roll while in turbo which offers some small degree of protection from players using auto aim from what I can tell.

However, you can easily control your ship direction by making micro changes during brief drops out of turbo. This allows you to make minor adjustments in the direction you wish to travel or better dodging ability when being pursued. Of course the more rapidly you are making those adjustments the faster your overall speed will drop, but spread out, you can maintain around 80% of max turbo overall (a rough estimate based on years of flying)

Nerf means reduce/impair/lessen. The word you are looking for is buff -- you want to buff turbo.
