VC was recently fixed, but is still used very little, I understand that but would like to try to get this suggestion on the radar somewhere in case it starts getting more popular.

I would like to see something implemented to allow a player to switch between Group VC and Guild VC, that way if a player takes a mission such as a hive skirmish, and then gets put into a group with nothing but NPC's, that player can switch back to guild VC and have someone to talk to.

So something like:

/vc guild

and

/vc group

Or thereabouts?

And corresponding API functions and events so we can create a plugin interface to deal with it. Yes please.

What is it Dirty? You want VC to have modern OS X support again?

In seriousness though, Dirty 'oRe, myself and others on the Macintosh would love to be able to join in on the chatting. We're happy using third-party alternatives (as it's been the for past few years), but is there any possibility of a workaround for the Macintosh on Guild Software's end? Or is it strictly in the realm of Team Speak updating their library to play nicely with OS X 10.9+?

Basically, we've been thinking "no" for awhile, but I did some research over the weekend because of this topic coming up again, and we have some new thoughts on something we can try. Can't promise anything, and we probably won't get to it for a couple of weeks (swamped, right now), but it's a direction anyway? There may yet be hope.

I wonder if you can grab the libs it liked from an OS X before it broke and bundle them with the team speak lib, if it searches . before path anyways.

hacked old linux apps into working that way before not sure how OS X would handle it.

Anyways that's just theory based on when I looked into it last year you guys actually have API's and crap you can wrap so i'll stop speculating now and let you figure it out
