I just tried a missin to protect a research ship and my problem was i needed to stay in the ship for protection but couldnt switch between turrets fast enough to protect it.im playing on an android is there or can you make a auto turret switch button to make it easier while on board to jump from turret to turret? Even if it was just another button that switched through them in order.That would be awesome.im an x 1-3 and tc and rebirth vet.it just makes sense.love the game for android its amazing.

You can't stay in the ship for protection in that mission. If you do that, the bots swarm on the Trident and destroy it. Tridents have horrible blind spots that NPCs all flock to and the turrets can't aim at. Try undocking and luring the bots away from those blind spots.

Anyway, I haven't figured out a good way to get TurretHop to work properly for gunners and docked ships. Really it would be nice if the devs added a /turret command to the game that let us bind it to keys.

Yea that'd be the best solution, it would defunct turrethop but it would work for everyone even those without plugins

Just integrate TurretHop's functionality into the game client. Let people bind keys and controller buttons to switch turrets.
