Nation specific capships
Currently, there isn't really much to separate each nation except for a few ships and color schemes. It's sad that such cool lore is mainly irrelevant.
So, I had an idea for a few capships that would add interesting things to game play while flavoring each faction in its own way.
I'm not going to add stats, as I really don't know how it'd compare to other capships. These are just concepts for monk ships.
Itani Monk ship:
The ship of choice for top Itani monks and their disciples.
Physical description: Bigger than a teradon, structure looks very...graceful. Black and gold, with long, swooping curves.
Would be extremely maneuverable for a capship.
Has an extremely powerful shield for its size - apparently, Itani monks can make these.
Itani anti-capital energy cannon: Mounted on the bow, a turret fires a large bolt, does the damage of about 3 Teradon bolts and reloads in half the time. Various other turrets
There'd be several variants, one with a dock that Itani respect or above could dock to. There'd be free repairs and a 100% player market. There'd one would travel across Itani, grey, and UIT space. Itani monks aren't purely militaristic. There'd also be several that would participate in Deneb and blockades of Serco space in grey.
Serco Assault Beast:
A large, genetically modified creature designed to fight in space.
Physical description: About the same size of a Itani monk ship. Resembles a Prometheus, you wouldn't be able to tell it's an actual creature except for two massive eyes on the bow.
Not as maneuverable as the Monk ship, but good for its size. Weak shields, but lots of armor.
One massive immobile cannon mounted on the bow
Would patrol Serco space, grey, Deneb, and participate in blockades.
UIT trade ship:
Basically a roving trade ship. There'd be several variants, varying in armor and cargo space. The ones in grey space would be very sketchy looking and small, but would sell cool shit. In UIT they'd be larger, heavily armored, and sell ships and weapons from UIT space. Some would be designed for mining. There'd be a player market on board, and would produce things by itself. It'd send out mining expeditions which would return to it.
You could set your home to it.
There'd be about 10 of each roving VO, and ideally be able to be constructed by players.

Its entirely pointless to propose new designs for a ship at this stage, incarnate is not going to commission them. He built that derivative design system so he could remix existing designs, that's what we're going to see for the tridents.
