windows phone port
Hi is there anyway that there could be a windows phone version
lol
Yes, in theory there could be. And there might actually end up being one, by accident. To which people may go "what?".
You see, back when we rolled out the WinRT version, it did not include Windows Phone support. Today, our app is likely to be a Microsoft version of a "universal" app, one that runs across Windows 10 in PC and also ARM-phones and tablets. So, it may "accidentally" happen in that we'll eventually recompile and re-submit an updated build of the game to the Windows Store, which is becoming more unified. We already have touchscreen support and handle various form-factors (phones, tablets, etc), so it may just.. work.
In terms of actively going after Windows Phone itself, the market share is small and shrinking. In fact, it's so small that some people think Microsoft has basically given up on phones. That's not really a compelling business case to pursue "Windows Phone" support. Not unless someone else (like MS) were to pony up a bunch of money to make that worthwhile, which is how the WinRT version came to be in the first place.
So.. "maybe" is the realistic answer. It is not likely to be a definitive target itself, any time soon, but it may fall out of other development and just magically appear.

So, there's hope for a ZX80 version then?
