My internet connection just dropped. Now that I'm back online... I'm sitting at a station with no ship. Means I just lost my hive power cell drop.

Would be nice if your internet connection is lost you can get your ship/cargo back.

You already do, if nothing kills you. You died and your ship was destroyed. That's what you started back at your home station with no ship.

Hive cells are easy enough to get. Just kill Seipos T38s until another one drops. Piece of cake.

-1. There is no way for the game to distinguish between crappy internet and somebody who is intentionally disconnecting from their network because they're in a losing fight and don't want to die. Therefor the game leaves your ship floating in space for a minute if your connection drops, during which time it could potentially be killed. If you survive that minute, it safely despawns your ship until you log back in.

I was battling bots and was leaving when my connection dropped. An option to buy back the exact ship if the connect drops would be nice. (including extras that might be on it)

Or make it an insurance mission you can take once a week, costing you 100millions creds, to be taken before the loss and valid for a single salvage only if you were killed by an NPC.

Hive Cells are just one of those things that actually have some scarcity in VO; you can't get them from stations. They aren't that hard to find, but I can see how it would hurt to lose one as a new player.

You may be able to pick one up from a veteran player. I'm not sure what the going rate is these days (I'd sell you one of mine for 500,000c), but you may be able to trade a positive mentor review for one.

500k for a hive fast charge? Who's the pirate here? Ihdpcs go for 300-500k. Ultras go for 5k.

Scarcity, mang... I have way more IHDPCs than HFC cells.
