Secondly, add temporary keys: owners should be able to set an expiration date/time on any key they give out. That way, if an owner is unsure of the decision to allow access, they can limit it to 1 day

+1, but make sure there is at least a 15-minute cool-down after submitting the request so people don't just spam it. It should probably also only message people with owner-keys.
