Problem: I am sick of my trident. More specifically I am sick of the constant shuffle between station and trident to load and unload cargo.

Solution: Partial docking at conc stations as well as other key stations that permit offloading and onloading functions only. The trident should remain vulnerable while attached to the external dock.

The current situation makes the only thing I still enjoy doing in VO tedious and not fun. I took a two month break since early March and returned briefly to check out the capital station docks which were needed. At this point, I am flying around in a hound running escort missions wondering why I'm still here.

Maybe I just need a longer break.

+1 As long as the shields are down when docked and very slowly charge up after leaving external the dock. If you want to keep the shields up, then they should do the shuffle.

People are also making it more tedious on themselves if they do the six xc shuffle. Dropping the stuff outside would be faster and less tedious.

As Biretak said, keep the shields down whilst docked.

With the last update, the devs added a command that will let you drop those six XCs worth of stuff very quickly. You just type this into your chat bar and hit enter: /explode

Yeah, that would have been handy a few months ago when I still had /explode bound to the 'z' key. Accidentally blew up my trident twice- both times loaded with RBA's. :(

Ouch, lost RBs? That would suck. Btw, if you ever get tired of owning a dent....

Why not just *not use it*? Lol that's what I do when I get sick of it. Or I just park it as a one man army ship base.
