Specs for new Tridents
New Trident Models
This has been tossed around a lot and I hope it is still on schedule , and soon. I just wanted to give some options for consideration and to keep this in front of our hard working Developers.
These models take into consideration the backstory with Serco being the more aggressive and Itani in a fight or die mode. Also, they are based on the mistaken Idea that Siepos is for Serco, Prosus for Itani, and Milinar for UIT. Specs for type M are from Wiki, sorry if they are not up to date, and can be adjusted based on current specs.

Turents – type M move one closer to front and one closer to rear for better coverage
-type S & P – located front, rear, top, bottom, right side, left side, right engine, & left engine(facing out)
Docks – 250 cu ship limit (to include the Taurs and Proms, but not Moths) – the 1 is captain ONLY – others are for any keyed ship to dock for travel or repair/reload
Cargo space is for cargo ONLY and cargo does not take away from the Docks for ships
Changes in requirements type M – reduce Docking Bays from 4 to 3 (no refunds on Dents already built)
Changes for type S & P – raise Docking bays from 4 to 6 – raise EHA from 8 to 10 – raise IBA from 8 to 10 – raise engines from 2 to 4
Keep new Trident Power Cell and Cap Weapons same as they are – Cell has grid of 125 and Cap weapons use 25 Grid which leaves room for 4 additional turent weapons
Large Port Weapons on S & P would be 2 forward facing and 1 rear facing that are Captain controlled while flying the Dent
I think this would give Prosus a slight edge on stationary combat and Sepios a slight edge on moving combat. It would also not make the Milanar useless as the additional energy for turbo would slow the others down a little at each jump.
This should create a Dent that we would not be afraid to get a team up and go into battle with

Fucking hell. Learn how to structure a suggestion, I had serious issues following this.
I also want to see trident varients released, I'm not worried about the details. But for group combat the current trident is quite useful. I'm not sure a tougher trident is going to mean there will suddenly be lots of tridents in battle. I think the important metric is the number of players in a battle.

When did the M get 2 large ports?
Cargo for the M should be 1200 cube.
Also, incarnate mentioned recently that he does not plan to introduce the S & P models until the game has more of a role for them to fill.

It has a role to fill now, it gives all the vets who already made their tridents something to manufacture while we wait for more enemiez to grow from noobs into warriors.
