NPC ship attacks in NFZ trigger SF
I was recently attacked in an NFZ by a NPC ship from a faction I was KOS with. Naturally I defended myself, but when I killed it the strike force came and chased me out. I suggest making the rules apply to every ship, not just the player controlled ones.

Strike force did used to kill convoys for NFZ violations. It was exploited. It was fixed.
You are asking to unfix the fix.

Jumping in the station sector right into a collision with a NPC moth or escort usually results in npc convoy shooting you.
This is completely out of players control and if you happen to be in an XC, you're dead.
Shit happens and this does not happen often so most of us don't really care.
However... players using Furies in station NFZ to kill other admired players without faction loss is a serious bug and, at least, that should be fixed.

Roda, it was not fixed.
The problem here is the convoys and other NPCs violate the NFZ in the first place.

i would support having npc not fire in nfz, except against players that are currently kos in that nfz.
but that is not at all what the op is suggesting. the op is suggesting free licences to kill any npc in the nfz that he can get to shoot him, and even have the station guard help him do it. that would be too easy to exploit.

abortretryfail is correct. I was fired upon in the NFZ by a ship that I had not run into, I killed it and got chased out by the strike force. According to the rules of the NFZ, the ship that shot me in the first place, being of a different faction than the NFZ, should have been tempKOSed and my subsequent defense allowed.

^ This is still exploitable, and players don't get a free pass in the NFZ just because the target is KOS.

Unless the KOS player has attacked them, thereby engaging the stand-your-ground system, which I believe then lets the aggressed player retaliate inside the NFZ because Inc is silly.
